This piece is from a series of portraits of my muses through the years. I have always been inspired by Iris Apfel's fashion, color choices, and jewelry. I loved Iris's personality-she was never afraid to be herself. This portrait emerges from the canvas to create a sense of presence of the famous subject. This portrait is compiled of many of my favorite images of Iris.
